Red Bull Salzburg wonderkid Erling Haaland is a transfer target for some of Europe's biggest clubs after a stunning start to the season in front of goal.
The 19-year-old has scored 28 goals in 22 games this campaign, including five hat-tricks for the Austrian giants.
The teenager is the son of former Leeds, Manchester City and Nottingham Forest player Alf-Inge Haaland and has admitted his dream is to win the Premier League with The Whites. Here are 10 of the famous kids of former stars who hope to make their name.
Erling Haaland
Erling Haaland has become one of the hottest young properties in football, catapulting himself onto the world stage by scoring a hat-trick on his Champions League debut for RB Salzburg against Genk back in September.
His father, Alf Inge Haaland, regarded by many Leeds United fans as an icon because of his outspoken views on rivals Manchester United quit playing football in 2003 at the age of 31 after 3 years at Manchester City.
As a Norweigan international player, Alf Inge Haaland represented his country on 34 occasions and featured in the 1994 FIFA World Cup.
He is one of a handful of Norwegian players who represented their country but never featured in the top domestic league.
Timothy Weah
Timothy made his international debut for the United States as they beat Paraguay 1-0 in a friendly in October. Weah, the first player born in the 2000s to play for the US, came on as an 86th minute substitute. The youngster made his debut for Paris Saint-Germain on March 3, less than two weeks after his 18th birthday.
The forward followed in the footsteps of his father, George, who spent three years at the French outfit, winning the coveted 1995 Ballon d'Or before joining AC Milan. He has since gone on to forge a political career.
Timothy was born in New York and moved to PSG from New York Red Bulls in 2014.
He played for Celtic on loan last campaign before signing for Lille this summer.
Christian Maldini
Christian Maldini does not just have one person to live up to, but two. His father Paolo became a bonafide legend of the game, winning the European Cup five times, while his grandfather Cesare won Serie A with Milan five times.
Unfortunately his career at Milan never truly got going. He never made a senior appearance for the club of his family.
Since then, the centre back has had a nomadic life. He has represented the likes of Reggiana, Hamrun Spartans and Pro Sesto.
In 2018, he climbed up a division, joining Racing Fondi to play in the third tier of Italian football - Serie C.
Christian featured infrequently for his new side and, at 21, needed to play regularly if he wanted to match up to the spectacular achievements of his family.
But it went downhill from there, he moved to Serie C side Fano on loan before being released by Fondi in the summer and he is now a free agent.
Rivaldinho
It is fair to say Rivaldo was more creative on the football pitch than when thinking of his son's name but it seems his footballing talents have not made their way down to Rivaldinho.
The 24-year-old has spent most of his career in Brazil but has failed to find a settled home and has had seven clubs in four years.
Between 2017 and 2018 he sought a new career path in Europe and signed for Dinamo Bucharest in Romania before leaving 11 months later for Levski Sofia in Bulgaria. A long way from emulating his dad's World Cup success with Brazil in 2002.
He now plays for Romanian side FC Viitorul Constanța who is owned and coached by Romanian legend Gheorghe Hagi.
Ianis Hagi
Speaking of Romanian stalwart Gheorghe, who enjoyed spells at Real Madrid, Barcelona and Galatasaray during his glittering playing career and won 125 caps for his country, he has a son playing called Ianis. Hagi was so enthused by the development of his son Ianis that he tipped him to captain Romania in the future.
Ianis became the youngest player to captain a side in Romanian top-flight history in August 2015 and secured a move to Fiorentina a year later from Viitorul Constanta.
He was nominated for the 2017 European Golden Boy award but his form dipped and Hagi found himself back at Viitorul Constanta. Belgian giants Genk, who played Liverpool in this season's Champions League, signed him in the summer on a five-year deal.
Jordan Larsson
Henrik Larsson's son Jordan has followed in his father's footsteps somewhat in becoming a striker, but their careers have largely taken different directions.
Larsson senior made his name with nearly 250 goals in seven years at Celtic before joining Barcelona in 2004.
However, 22-year-old Jordan has moved around Europe's less glamorous leagues with stints in his homeland Sweden and Holland. While at Helsingborgs, between 2014 and 2016, Larsson was managed by his father but that spell ended in disaster as the club was relegated before violent scenes broke out among supporters.
Jordan joined Spartak Moscow in the summer where he has managed one goal in his first six games.
Tyler Walker
Son of England defender Des, Tyler plays at the other end of the pitch - up front.
The Nottingham Forest forward, on loan at Lincoln City, is an England under-20 international.
The 22-year-old already has vast experience having previously played on loan at Burton, Stevenage, Port Vale, Bolton and Mansfield.
Last season he was named in the EFL League Two PFA Team of the Year.
He started this season on fire, scoring five in his first 10 league games with Lincoln, but now has nine in 22 after his form slowed down.
Mattheus
Going back to Brazilian World Cup winners now and 1994 winner Bebeto also has a son playing professional football. Mattheus is his name, an attacking midfielder that is currently with Sporting Lisbon.
The 25-year-old struggled to secure regular first-team football in the Portuguese capital after arriving from Estoril for £3.5m in 2017. It was there he enjoyed his best campaign to date, scoring four goals in 26 games. He also has four caps for Brazil's Under 20 team but is yet to represent their senior side.
He has spent the last two seasons on loan at Vitoria where he has been a bit-part player but is now back at Sporting.
Oan Djorkaeff
Oan's father, Youri made 82 international appearances for France, as well as dazzling at Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco and Bolton.
Now Oan is looking to follow in his dad's footsteps but the 22-year-old isn't living up to the hype just yet.
He staretd his youth career at Saint Etienne before moving to French non-league side Thonon Evian.
He then got a break as he joined Montpellier's reserves before signing for Nantes in 2017.
He was released by the Ligue 1 side in the summer and signed for Scottish side St Mirren in July.
Oan made his debut in the Scottish League Cup against Dunfermline and scored his first goal for the club in the same competition against Edinburgh City.
