A player who once cost Liverpool £2million at the age of 14 has now joined the 10th club of his career.

Winger Oluwaseyi Babajide Ojo, known better Sheyi Ojo, started off at MK Dons before doing enough to attract the interest of the Reds.

He secured a move to the Premier League giants at the age of 14 with a reported fee of £2m.

He was quickly sent out on loan to Wigan and then Wolves as the club seeked to let him develop.

Ojo was then handed his first start by Jurgen Klopp in 2016 in a 3-2 defeat at Southampton.

Big things were expected of the youngster but they never quite materialised.

There was a lot of hype surrounding Ojo but the winger never truly lived up to those expectations.

Loan spells with of Fulham, Stade de Reims, Rangers, Cardiff City and Millwall followed.

In all, he made 13 appearances for Liverpool and scored one goal before moving to Cardiff on a free transfer.

Ojo did not manage to secure a regular starting spot and was loaned out to Belgian Pro League side Koninklijke Voetbalclub Kortrijk for the 23/24 season.

It was decided that he would depart in the summer when his contract expired but he has now found a new home, that being Slovenian side Maribor on a two-year deal.
