FIFA 19: How to do all the Skill Moves

  /  autty

EA Sports has added nine new skill moves in FIFA 19. Here's how to do all the new tricks as well as instructions for every classic skill move

Winning matches in FIFA 19 is a difficult business. Gamers will do anything to try to improve and grind out those wins - with some of the better players using skills to get an advantage over their opponents.

At first, skills can seem daunting, but with a little bit of practice, you can use them to get the better of your opponents. Try them out in the Practice Arena or against offline opponents to get to learn them and then unleash them online to turn those losses into wins!

Nine new skill moves have been added to FIFA 19. Some of these are minor improvements on old ones, while others including Neymar's Rainbow Flick, the Franck Ribery Flick and Andreas Iniesta's La Croqueta are all new and can be game-changing if used correctly.

FIFA 19 is released worldwide on Friday, September 28.

NEW SKILL MOVES

FIFA 18 added four new skill moves to the collection, but there are more than twice that many new additions in FIFA 19. Some of them are quite difficult to pull off and need a lot of practice, but most are straightforward if you are confident at skills already.

The Neymar Rainbow Flick can only be pulled off by Neymar himself, otherwise the player will just do a regular rainbow flick.

ONE-STAR SKILL MOVES

These skill moves can be done by every single player in the game - including goalkeepers.

The addition of new juggling moves as well as tricks while the ball is in the air make the ball juggle more useful in FIFA 19, but it's still best used to taunt your opponent!

TWO-STAR SKILL MOVES

The two-star skill move list can be done by the vast majority of outfield players, including defenders. Most are simple touches to get past opposition players or give you more time on the ball.

THREE-STAR SKILL MOVES

There are just a handful of three-star skill moves in the game, but they can be deadly when used in confined spaces.

FOUR-STAR SKILL MOVES

Four-star skill moves are more difficult than the lower levels and also look more impressive when you pull them off. The spins and feints can be used to outsmart the defenders, allowing you to get room for a shot or cross.

FIVE-STAR SKILL MOVES

The five-star skill moves are only performed by a small number of players in the game. These are the most difficult tricks to perform in real life, and in FIFA 19. Some of them require a lot of practice before you can get them perfect and you'll often see the best pro players and eSports champions using them in tournaments and online.

PLAYERS WITH FIVE-STAR SKILLS

There's a lot of players in FIFA 19 who can perform five-star skills, including some summer transfers who now have new clubs. Meaning that Liverpool fans can use Xherdan Shaqiri in their starting lineups if they value five-star skills over other stats and ways of playing.

These players are not just limited to gold players, with some lower-rated players also capable of doing tricks and flicks, even if they're good for little else in FIFA 19!
