Foden has beach bust-up with Rebecca Cooke 'after she looked through his phone'

Manchester City ace Phil Foden was forced to leave a posh beach club during a family holiday after a bust-up with his Wag.

Rebecca Cooke screamed at the England player: 'Do you think I'm a d**khead?' in front of shocked holidaymakers at a Corfu resort after she allegedly looked at his phone while he was swimming in the sea.

Video shows Rebecca, 20, yelling at Foden, 22, as the pair follow two bouncers up steps to a club at Glyfada Beach and jabs her thumb at the winger.

Pointing back towards the beach, the Wag is heard shouting at the winger: 'Do you think I'm a d**khead?'.

The couple, who have two children together and went on holiday with Foden's parents Phil Snr and Claire, are then escorted off the premises by security, with Rebecca telling Foden: 'Yeah I wonder why, mate.' When Foden remains silent, Rebecca shouts: 'Tell her 'n' all.'

An eyewitness claimed he heard Rebecca tell the Man City star: 'We can't take you anywhere because this always happens.'

The holidaymaker added: 'I think it was to do with other women. What it looked like was he was refusing photos, but when women came up to him it was different.

'It was a fight between a footballer and his girlfriend. She was shouting and screaming. They were only here for the day. It all started down there on the beach. It was really aggressive and intense.

'Then they came up to the bar and she was yelling at him. This kind of thing doesn't happen here usually.'

Another claimed they heard Foden's mother Claire say that she was 'fed up with the drama'.

MailOnline has contacted Man City for comment.

Foden joined Man City's team in November 2017 aged just 17 and made his England debut in a 1-0 win in Iceland in September 2020.

During the trip, Foden and team-mate Mason Greenwood were sent home in disgrace after sneaking two female cousins into the team's hotel in breach of Covid rules.

One of the girls, make-up artist Lara Clausen, claimed she slept with Foden before England team security officers barged into her room at 6am looking for the player.

She told MailOnline: 'He was just like an average boy. I didn't feel he was anyone famous. We joked around a lot. He didn't tell me about his personal life, definitely not about a kid or a girlfriend'.
