France boss Didier Deschamps is reportedly set to drop a big name star for Tuesday's Euro 2024 semi-final against Spain.

Deschamps' side made it through to the last four after overcoming Portugal on penalties.

However, the France coaching staff feel that some alterations may be required if they are to get past Spain.

France finished in second place in Group D as they took five points from their three games.

Les Bleus then beat Belgium 1-0 in the round of 16 courtesy of a late own goal from Jan Vertonghen.

As reported by L'Equipe, vice-captain Antoine Griezmann could be dropped from the starting lineup against Spain.

Griezmann has featured prominently at the tournament so far, starting four of France's five games.

However, he hasn't made a major impact and has yet to score or provide an assist.

Griezmann has the fourth highest amount of caps in France's history with 134, while he is also fourth on the all-time goalscoring list with 44.

Meanwhile, Adrien Rabiot is set to return to the side in place of Eduardo Camavinga after missing the quarter-final due to suspension.

Rabiot is likely to start along with N'Golo Kante and Aurelien Tchouameni in midfield, with the front three comprised of Ousmane Dembele, Randal Kolo Muani and Kylian Mbappe.

Dembele is set to be rewarded after impressing as a substitute against Portugal.
