Fulham defender Denis Odoi has been knocked unconscious by his own team-mate after suffering a nasty-looking head injury in the club's Premier League encounter with Cardiff.
The 30-year-old centre back was temporarily knocked out in the first half after being accidentally kicked in the chest and then head by Maxime Le Marchand as Odoi tried heading the ball back to Fulham goalkeeper Sergio Rico.
Play was immediately stopped at Craven Cottage as Fulham medical staff rushed on to the field to Odoi's aid on Saturday afternoon.
After regaining consciousnesses, Odoi appeared dazed and confused as he tried getting back to his feet but struggled to do so.
Odoi was then laid back on the ground where he was able to receive treatment for the nasty head injury.
The Belgian defender then received treatment on the pitch for just under 10 minutes as both sets of players and fans anxiously watched on.
Odoi was then taken off the pitch on a stretcher while receiving oxygen as both sets of supporters applauded the defender.
The player received further treatment at the ground but has not been taken to hospital as it stands.
