Furious PSG boss Thomas Tuchel rages at Leipzig fitness coach

Thomas Tuchel was involved in a furious bust-up on the pitch with the opposition bench in the moments after PSG reached their first ever Champions League final.

Tuchel was spotted by BT Sport cameras breaking off from the celebrations after PSG's 3-0 semi-final victory over Leipzig to wander back onto the pitch.

He was seen firing off some choice words and pointing angrily in the direction of Leipzig's fitness coach Daniel Behlau, while PSG players Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Thilo Kehrer were forced to sheepishly watch on.

Tuchel had exchanged some frank words with opposite number Julian Nagelsmann about what he perceived to be an overly physical approach from the German outfit.

He explained after that he did not like another member of staff getting involved in what was a one-on-one conversation between the two managers.

There is believed to have been a faint audible shout of 'you f***ing p***y' heard in German from the RB Leipzig bench in the second half

Tuchel said to Behlau: 'Everything you shouted, it's a shame you don't admit it', to which the Leipzig fitness coach replied: 'Congratulations'.

Tuchel made an effort to play down the confrontation after the final whistle.

'It was between me and Julian,' he explained.

'That is okay between two head coaches but then a third person interfered. I didn't like that but it has since been sorted out.'

Nagelsmann admitted Tuchel had every right to be upset after his fellow countryman confronted him about the number of fouls Leipzig committed in Lisbon.

'We fouled a lot, you can see that statistically,' the Leipzig head coach said. 'That wasn't planned, we just often came too late into challenges.

'He complained because he wanted to protect his players. That's all normal. I think we had 34 fouls at the end of the day so you can say something.'

PSG ran out comfortable winners on the night thanks to goals from Marquinhos, Angel Di Maria and Juan Bernat. They will face the winner between Bayern Munich and Lyon in Sunday's showpiece final at the Estadio de la Luz.
