Tottenham star Harry Kane finally met one of his sporting idols Virat Kohli on Friday after paying a visit to Lord's cricket ground.
Kane has admitted in the past to being a huge admirer of the India batsman and was all too glad to spend some time with him this week.
The pair have exchanged several compliments on social media over the past few years and seem to have struck up an unlikely friendship.
Kane, who's Tottenham side are preparing for next weekend's Champions League final, posted the picture of the two on his Twitter account.
He wrote: 'After a few tweets in the last couple of years good to finally meet @imVkohli. A great guy and a brilliant sportsman.'
The pair were spotted having a conversation after meeting each other for the first time at Lords' training ground.
Kohli is in England for the cricket World Cup, which gets underway next Thursday when Eoin Morgan's side play South Africa in the opening game.
The batsman is expected to feature in India's warm-up match against New Zealand at The Oval on Saturday.
