Has Pogba become a dad? Utd star steps out with girlfriend Maria Salaues

Paul Pogba and his girlfriend Maria Salaues dined at The Ivy restaurant on Tuesday night and raised speculation that the French star has become a dad.

Salaues carried a very conspicuous baby bump in recent appearances to watch Pogba play for Manchester United at Old Trafford before the New Year.

But even though Pogba is prolific on social media, he has yet to make any kind of announcement of the birth of his child.

The couple smiled as they walked into the plush central Manchester restaurant closely watched by their minder.

The slimline Salaues wore a white dress and navy blazer, while Pogba sported a white tracksuit top and white ripped jeans.

Old Trafford legend Bryan Robson told Sportsmail this week: 'When I saw Paul last week in Dubai with the United squad, I had a little chat and congratulated him on the birth of his baby.

'He just seemed so relaxed and easy with things.'

But the 25-year-old has yet to post anything on social media about his baby, in keeping with what has been a low key relationship with Bolivian model Salaues.

It first emerged the pair were in a relationship when she was pictured supporting Pogba during France's successful World Cup campaign in Russia last summer.

She attended both United home matches over the Christmas period, against Huddersfield Town and Bournemouth, with her baby bump visible.

It is a happy time for Pogba, who has excelled in United's midfield since Jose Mourinho was sacked last month and replaced by interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Liberated from Mourinho's tactical straitjacket, Pogba has been turning in consistently excellent performances as United have won six matches from six under the Norwegian.

Pogba has scored four goals and contributed four assists as United have closed in on the top four in the Premier League.

They remain in sixth position but are just six points behind Chelsea, who currently occupy the final Champions League spot.

United host Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford this Saturday.
