How Real Madrid could line-up with Eden Hazard in their side

According to Spanish radio programme Cadena SER, Eden Hazard's transfer to Real Madrid is already 'closed and done' as the Belgian is bound to join the Spanish club this summer.

Real Madrid is believed to be his preferred option as the 28-year-old has previously spoken about his dream switch to the Santiago Bernabeau and referred to them as "the best club in the world" in October.

Here's how Real Madrid could line-up with Hazard in their side.

4-3-3

If they utilise the same formation they currently favour then Hazard can slot straight in to the left wing.

That position has been a problem for Madrid ever since Cristiano Ronaldo left in the summer.

The 18-year-old Vinicius Junior has been used but has only managed four goals in 20 appearances.

The front three of Hazard, Bale and Benzema looks likely to be a pretty deadly combination, providing they all stay fit.

Playing on the left is also Hazard's preferred position and has been used as a false nine by Chelsea this season because of their striker troubles.

4-3-1-2

This was the formation used by Zinedine Zidane at Madrid and brought him a lot of success along the way.

The defence and midfield would remain the same to the previous formation but the change would come in the front three.

In the Champions League final against Liverpool, Isco lined-up behind Benzema and Ronaldo and was given a free role behind the two forwards.

Given Hazard's creativity, he could thrive in that free role behind Benzema and Bale.
