Inter are currently reflecting on whether to hand Brozovic a new contract (CM)

Inter management are currently reflecting on whether to hand Marcelo Brozovic a new and improved contract according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

The Croatian international midfield maestro is currently under contract with the club until 2022 and as part of that contract there is a €60 million release clause.

For the time being, Inter have no worries about clubs coming in and paying that but they are well aware that should Brozovic's good form continue, clubs could come knocking on the door for him.

Brozovic only signed a new deal around 18 months ago but Inter could give him a new deal that would come with a slight increase in salary and the release clause could be bumped up a bit too if not entirely removed.

The report does however go on to state that the player's representatives are trying to drum up interest from the Premier League but it also states that Brozovic is currently happy at the Nerazzurri where he is a key cog in manager Antonio Conte's side.
