Each week throughout the 2020-21 season, Sportsmail brings you a Power Rankings table, listing the top 10 hottest players in the Premier League.
As the stories of the season unravel, the rankings will provide a form guide with players moving in and out of the top 10 depending on both their performances in the previous fixtures and also in recent weeks.
Manchester City extended their lead at the top of the table at the weekend, with a comfortable 3-0 win against a Tottenham side looking short of confidence currently under Jose Mourinho.
Elsewhere, Manchester United slipped up in the title race against lowly-placed West Brom, while Liverpool's slump continued as they capitulated late on at Leicester.
Furthermore, Arsenal impressed in a 4-2 win against Leeds, and Chelsea continued their eye-catching run under new boss Thomas Tuchel with a 2-0 victory at home to Newcastle to round off the weekend's action.
There were many excellent individual performances once again in the top-flight - but which players from last week's list will drop out and who will come out on top this time around?
10) Mohamed Salah (no change)
Despite Liverpool's wretched recent run, Mohamed Salah continues to make the top-10 - simply because he keeps on scoring.
After opening the scoring at the King Power on Saturday, with a cool accurate finish prodded into the corner, Salah added another to his season-tally and is still the Premier League's top goalscorer with 17, three ahead of nearest rival Bruno Fernandes.
Given the champions' horrid results since the turn of the year, it does beg the question: where on earth would they be without their Egyptian King? He has now scored four goals in his last four league games.
9) Jesse Lingard (new entry)
From the forgotten man at Manchester United to running the show at high-flying West Ham, Jesse Lingard makes his first appearance in this season's Power Rankings.
The attacking midfielder, who not so long ago was a star for England at the 2018 World Cup, has been rejuvenated since joining the Hammers on loan last month, with a brace on his debut at Aston Villa the perfect start.
On Monday, Lingard looked a class above in a 3-0 win against Sheffield United, oozing the sort-of panache which saw him break into the United first-team. Food for thought, perhaps, for Messers Solskjaer and Southgate...
8) Patrick Bamford (down three)
A drop in the rankings for the Leeds forward, who struggled to make an impact at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
In a season where the 27-year-old has surprised onlookers leading the line for this topsy-turvy Leeds side, Bamford couldn't add to his 12 Premier League goals against Arsenal.
Two games in quick succession though, against Wolves and Southampton in the next seven days, gives Bamford ample chance to get back on the goal-trail. He'll no doubt captain himself - again - in Fantasy Football in what will be a double game-week.
7) Harvey Barnes (new entry)
A undoubted star of another overachieving Leicester season so far, the Foxes winger ultimately came out on top in his duel with Trent Alexander-Arnold on the left-hand side.
He caused problems aplenty in attack for struggling Liverpool and richly deserved his goal which he took with supreme confidence, clinically stroked into the corner past a forlorn Alisson Becker.
The 23-year-old made his England debut back in October and if he continues in this vein of form, he may just force himself into the squad come the summer and the European Championships.
6) Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (new entry)
Five months into the season, it finally all fell into place in front of goal for the Arsenal captain on Sunday afternoon.
He scored his first Premier League hat-trick against Leeds, via a clever right-footed finish, a penalty and a free header, and in doing so increased his season-tally to eight in the league.
The Gabonese endured nothing short of a nightmare end to 2020, with the Gunners in free-fall. Yet the turn of the year - excluding a two-week absence due to personal reasons - has seen Aubameyang close to his best again, as Arteta's side continue to show signs of revitalisation this season.
5) Bukayo Saka (up two)
Having slipped down the list last week, Arsenal's teenage star moves up to No 5 having played a key role in the victory against Leeds.
His pace, close control and skill proved a thorn in the visitors' back-line on Sunday, and he won the penalty after putting pressure on Leeds keeper Illan Meslier.
Saka had earlier thought he'd won a penalty after a clumsy foul by Liam Cooper, but it was overturned via VAR. Nevertheless, Saka shows no sign of his ascent plateauing anytime soon.
4) Phil Foden (down one)
No direct involvement in any of City's goals against Tottenham on Saturday, but the 20-year-old continues to flourish and was involved in the neat build-up play for Ilkay Gundogan's first of the evening.
Foden finally seems to have nailed down a regular spot in Pep Guardiola's starting XI, weaving in from the right-hand side with supreme quality and maturity way beyond his years.
The playmaker, who has taken over David Silva's role this season, has been a key cog in City's winning machine - and a third Premier League winners' medal appears more and more likely to materialise.
3) John Stones (up one)
Perhaps the most surprising individual resurgence in this never-ending City winning sequence is the solidity of John Stones at centre back.
No doubt aided by summer signing Ruben Dias, Stones looks like a man reborn and is keeping Aymeric Laporte out the team - rightly so.
Another clean-sheet for the England international on Saturday, as he kept Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son at bay. Back to his assured 2018-self.
2) Bruno Fernandes (no change)
Though United dropped two points at West Brom, it could have been all three if not for the individual brilliance, once again, of Bruno Fernandes.
The Portuguese midfielder's level of play is still at an astonishingly high level and his strike on the stroke of half-time - a majestic first-time volley with his left-foot into the top-corner - was the goal of the weekend.
He's now out on his own at No 2 in the top goalscorer rankings, with 14. It's been over a year since his move from Sporting Lisbon but Fernandes continues to set the Premier League alight week-in, week-out.
1) Ilkay Gundogan (no change)
The German keeps his No 1 spot after another brilliantly-taken brace against top-six opposition at the weekend.
After scoring two at Anfield, Gundogan found the back of the net twice with his left-foot against Spurs, bamboozling and flooring Davinson Sanchez for his second.
Right now, the 30-year-old is the Premier League's best player - flourishing in a City team which gives him licence to break into the box with great effect - and if his form continues he'll be nothing short of a shoo-in for the Player of the Year award.
