Former Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar has spoken with Inter TV ahead of this weekend’s Milan Derby.

“I will be there with the fans, I want to meet you all and I hope we can enjoy a victory,” the Brazilian started out saying.

“The derby is a special game, nobody wants to lose it. There is always a lot of concentration. The coach conveys his ideas and you have to understand them. When I played in them, I won more than I lost.He then recalled some of his memorable derby moments.“Saving Ronaldinho’s penalty was one of the best moments of my life as I parried a penalty from the strongest best in the world. I remember the 4-0 derby win too. We dominated from the beginning to the end it was a beautiful game.”

The goalkeeper, who was part of the famous Triplete winning side, then spoke on how he thinks Inter are doing.“All the players want to play in these kind of games. I think Inter are doing very well currently, especially in the Champions League.”

He concluded the interview by speaking on the Festival of Sport event in Trento that allowed him to catch-up with former teammates.“I was a bit sad because it is difficult to bring everyone together and I was expecting to see some other former mates, but it was great to see Maicon, Diego Milito, Zanetti and others. We had so many things to say to each other.”
