N'Golo Kante was a major doubt for the Europa League final, but everything worked out well for the Chelsea midfielder in the end as he played the full 90 minutes and his side beat Arsenal 4-1 to win the trophy.
Kante proudly lifted the Europa League trophy aloft after the game and in doing so continued an impressive record.
The 28-year-old has won a trophy in every season since he moved to English football, as reported by Give Me Sport.
Kante joined Leicester from Caen in 2016 and helped the Foxes to win the Premier League title in remarkable fashion during his only season at the club.
In the 2016-17 season Kante got his hands on the Premier League trophy again, this time with Chelsea, after playing a major part in their success under Antonio Conte.
Last season there was another trophy for Kante, with Chelsea beating Manchester United in the final to win the FA Cup.
Kante now has a Europa League winners medal as well, and his record of winning trophies is even more impressive given that he hadn't lifted any club silverware prior to coming to England.
This season Kante has often been used in a more advanced role by manager Maurizio Sarri, and, while many Chelsea fans may not have agreed with the decision to play him there, it certainly worked well against Arsenal.
