Jurgen Klopp is a man who chooses his words carefully.
And he was forced to be extra selective after being informed of what Egypt manager Javier Aguirre had to say about Mohamed Salah's future at Liverpool.
"It may be better for him to leave in a season or two if Liverpool doesn’t win any titles," the Spaniard said this week.
Salah has quickly developed into one of the world's very best players under Klopp at Liverpool.
The Reds are now embroiled in a very real Premier League title challenge and will once again look to threaten at the business end of the Champions League this season, also.
In short, Salah is perfectly placed where he is at present.
No surprise, then, Klopp issued a firm but fair response to Aguirre.
"Who is manager of Egypt?" Klopp asked, before stating why he disagreed with the comments.
"I would say if he [Aguirre] doesn’t win titles in the next two years he should move country!
"I don’t know why people say things like that. Obviously I don’t agree but it’s a free world and he can say whatever he wants. That’s good actually." He eventually conceded.
