KYLIAN MBAPPE was involved in a bizarre moment with an advertising board in last night's France match.
The incident came as France thrashed Luxembourg 3-0 courtesy of goals from Randal Kolo-Muani, Jonathan Clauss and Mbappe himself.
The incident came when Mbappe was left floored after a tackle.
Sat on the floor next to an advertising hoarding, an advert showed a man crawling along in a tan suit and glasses appearing to look at Mbappe.
The French captain turned around at the exact time as the man on the advert, and the two appeared to make awkward eye contact.
Mbappe then turned away in disbelief at the creepy timing of the ad.
After the video was posted on X, one fan said: "The timing of the advert, I’m crying 😭"
Another wrote: "Mbappe saw that and said 'aight aight imma just get up' 😂"
While a third said: "😂 crazy advert 😂"
A fourth wrote: "How did they manage to time it perfectly? 😂"
Mbappe's goal in the 85th minute was the first he has scored since confirming his move to Real Madrid.
The forward is set to pocket a signing on fee of over £85million.
He dedicated his goal to his late Uncle Alex, who passed away recently.
Posting an image of his celebration on his Instagram, he wrote: "rest in peace Uncle Alex. It's hard to find the words to say how much you left us too soon and will be missed.
"Life will never be the same without you. Your family will be taken care of, you can be sure of that. May God open the doors of heaven for you."
