Lingard happy his trademark celebration finally included in FIFA19

Jesse Lingard has expressed his delight at getting his own signature celebration put into the latest game of the FIFA franchise.

Fans can now perform the 'JLingz' move whenever they've put one past one of their mates on FIFA 19.

And Lingard insisted that the makers of the game, EA Sports, 'finally listened' as he tweeted a clip of his virtual in-game self performing the move.

Lingard has been using the celebration whenever he scores, including after he scored a superb long-range effort in the 6-1 thrashing of Panama at the World Cup in June.

The hand gesture, where he makes the letter 'J' with his right hand and the letter 'L' with his left, went viral during the summer and he has even went on to apply for four trademarks with UK Intellectual Property Office for the celebration in June.

However, the Manchester United star wasn't entirely happy with the video he posted on Twitter.

While he may have been delighted with his trademark celebration being in the game, Lingard pointed out that his haircut still hasn't be updated.

The 25-year-old is currently rocking the fade but has a mo-hawk in game.

It's been a couple of years since he last had the mo-hawk while the FIFA franchise has been known to be a tad slow with updating the smaller details on individual players.

To perform the celebration with Lingard, players will have to press the 'X' button on Xbox or the 'circle' button on PS4 after scoring a goal on the recently released game.
