Lucas Digne has arrived at Barcelona Airport as he prepares to fly to England and finalise his switch to Everton.
The left-back was given permission to leave Barcelona's tour of the United States in order to secure his move to Goodison Park.
Digne joined Barcelona from Paris Saint-Germain two years ago and has fond memories of his time at the club.
As reported by Four Four Two, Digne wrote on Instagram: 'The last two years have been a dream of a child that I have been able to realise - I want to say thank you very much to all,' Digne wrote on Instagram.
'First to the club that has given me everything since I arrived, thanks to all the physios, the staff with whom I have worked, the physical trainers, the security people, the kitchen staff, all make the club a family.
'The fans that are always next to the team and that have given me a lot of warmth for two years. The city of Barcelona that will always stay with me for what I have lived and for the people who are incredible at all times.
'And finally my colleagues who as well as being the best players in the world, are amazing people who always help you. All that to say that Barca is more than a club is an incredible family.
'A very strong hug to all and good luck for the season.'
Dressed casually in a t-shirt and jeans, Digne seemed excited as his £18million move to Everton edges closer.
Digne was ultimately unsuccessful with regards to the considerably difficult task of attempting to become Barcelona's first-choice left-back at the expense of Jordi Alba.
However, the Frenchman still made 46 appearances for Barcelona across all competitions and won the La Liga title and two Copa del Reys.
Everton have been on the lookout for a long-term successor to Leighton Baines, and Digne, who has 21 France caps, looks set to fill the void.
So far in this transfer window Everton have made one major signing, bringing in winger Richarlison from Watford for £35million.
Once the Digne deal is done it will be intriguing to see whether there will be any further additions to Marco Silva's squad before the transfer window closes next week.
