Romelu Lukaku spoke on the importance of manager Antonio Conte after Inter ended their 23 year hunt for a league win away to Napoli by running out 3-1 winners at the Stadio San Paolo tonight.
“It is important to have a great leader like Antonio Conte on the bench and for a young squad like ours, it is crucial to have someone with so much experience at the helm,” he explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia post-match.
The Belgian, who notched his 15th and 16th goals of the season during the match, then spoke on strike partner Lautaro Martinez, who grabbed Inter's third goal and his 14th for the season.
“We are good friends. We do a lot of things together off the field too, and when we are on the pitch, we like to set each other up. I am really happy with the way we are doing at the moment, but we can do much better.”
