Man Utd 2022-23 home kit 'leaked' but fans are split on new design

MANCHESTER UNITED'S home kit for the 2022-23 season has been leaked on social media.

But it has received some mixed reactions from fans.

Adidas have introduced a white collar with red triangles to the strip and black stripes running across the shoulders.

There has also been a slight change to the badge, with a frame surrounding it - much like one that was used for the famous 1999 Champions League-winning kit.

Some United fans have fallen in love with the new design, and have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One said: "I am definitely getting this."

Another added: "I want it!!!"

A third said: "Comfortably our best kit in recent years."

However, others were quick to disagree with one person tweeting: "Already disappointed, before the season's even kicked off. Here we go."

Another joked: "Even the guy wearing it looks disappointed."

United are eager to return to Premier League and European glory following their disastrous 2021-22 campaign.

The club are hoping that the addition of Erik ten Hag as manager will be a catalyst for change.

Ten Hag has already put together a list of transfer targets to begin a squad rebuild, with former Ajax star Frenkie de Jong a priority.

Barcelona have put a £70million price tag on the midfielder, but the Red Devils are said to be close to reaching an agreement.

Man Utd are also considering an offer for Christian Eriksen, who is set to leave Brentford at the end of this month.
