Real Madrid defender Militao has released an official statement on social media saying he did not taunted Barcelona after their Europa League exit.
Militao issued a personal statement saying: "Militao never had an account on social media. It was a fake account. We would like to apologise to anyone who was offended, we have taken legal action and asked for the message to be removed. We also advise fans not to interact with fake accounts, not to send anything, not to believe the wrong things."
Barcelona lost 3-0 down to The second leg of their Europa League quarter-final against France 3-2 and were knocked out of the quarter-finals. A blogger posted a meme mocking Barcelona on social media, and the account suspected to be Real Madrid defender Militao left three laughing and crying emojis in the comments section.
