Mohamed Salah wore a brave face on Thursday as Egypt trained inside the Akhmat Arena Stadium ahead of facing Saudi Arabia.

Both teams have lost their opening two Group A games to Russia and Uruguay and are now unable to progress to the knockout stages.
But while a holiday looms for all of Hector Cuper's squad following the conclusion of the Saudi Arabia game, Salah looked to lead by example in training.

The early exit comes as a real disappointment for Egypt with some suggesting before the tournament began that they would join Uruguay in navigating Group A, such was the impact of Salah.
But Cuper, whose contract expires after the tournament ends, was unable to use his star man in the opening 1-0 defeat to Uruguay.
Salah, wearing a black t-shirt and jogging bottoms, has returned to full fitness after his shoulder injury but it has come too late to help salvage Egypt's disastrous campaign.
Egypt take on Saudi Arabia on Monday at the Volgograd Arena in a bid to avoid finishing bottom of the group.
