New boy Jude Bellingham leaves team-mates rolling on the floor laughing during Dortmund initiation

Jude Bellingham may have impressed Borussia Dortmund enough to bring him into the club, but admiration turned to fits of laughter from his team-mates on Saturday following his initiation.

The 17-year-old completed a £25million move to the German giants from Championship club Birmingham City earlier this summer.

Bellingham is now on a pre-season training camp in the Swiss spa town of Bad Ragaz with the Bundesliga outfit, where the traditional initiations songs had to be performed.

The midfielder may have disappointed some by not choosing to sing the Beatles' 'Hey Jude', but chose instead to belt out a version of Ne-Yo's 'So Sick', which had team-mates bursting out with laughter throughout his performance.

Bellingham's singing however was too much for Raphael Guerreiro, with the Portuguese left-back falling to the floor laughing.

The England U17 international was one of five members of Lucien Favre's squad that became performers for the day.

Norwegian star Erling Haaland - who joined from RB Salzburg in January - was captured by winger Jadon Sancho singing Bob Marley's 'Three Little Birds', while fellow January signing Emre Can sang Turkish folk singer Ibrahim Tatlıses 'Haydi Sole'.

Belgium international Thomas Meunier, who joined on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in June sang Oasis' 'Wonderwall', while 20-year-old defender Mateu Jaume completed the initiations by belting out Brazilian artisit Michel Telo's 'Ai Se Eu Te Pego'.

The songs provided Sancho and his Dortmund team-mates with some light relaxation as they gear up for the return of the Bundesliga next month.

England international Sancho has also had to deal with the added pressure coming from talk of a move to Manchester United.

The Red Devils have been unsuccessful so far in their pursuit of the Borussia Dortmund forward with the Bundesliga club claiming the £108million star is staying.
