OFFICIAL: Arda Güler has an injury to the left rectus femoris muscle

REAL MADRID'S OFFICIAL STATEMENT:

"After the tests carried out on our player Arda Güler by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the left rectus femoris muscle.  Evolution pending."

According to reporter, Arda Güler will be out for a month. He got injured in the last play of today's training.

Arda Güler had been one of the positive news stories, in Madridista terms, in the run-up to the game against UD Las Palmas and Carlo Ancelotti had expressed his satisfaction. Although at the moment we are waiting to know more exactly how he is progressing, everything seems to indicate that Arda Güler will be out for at least another three weeks.

This would imply that he would reappear, in the best of cases, after the next national team break scheduled for the week of October 9 to 17. Güler will miss the matches against UD Las Palmas, Girona, Naples and Osasuna, and could be ready to visit Sevilla in La Liga on October 22 or to travel to Braga in the Champions League on the 24th of the same month.

At 18 years old, Arda arrived at Real Madrid this past summer from Fenerbahce in exchange for 20 million euros. Bad fortune meant that in the preseason he had to undergo surgery for a meniscus injury that prevented him from making his debut in an official match. Now, perhaps due to the after-effects of the operation and the long recovery period, he has suffered this setback in the form of a muscle injury.

After ruling out conservative treatment and undergoing surgery, Arda Güler returned to training with the group four days ago and expectations surrounding his debut were high. However, Carlo Ancelotti will still have to wait a month, at least, to be able to count on him.
