Another trophy to the cabinet! PSG & France wonderkid Kylian Mbappe has officially been named 2018 French Player of the Year.
The PSG and Bleus striker becomes the 61st winner of French Player of the Year awarded by a jury of former winners and editor of the weekly.
He succeeds N'Golo Kanté on the charts and ahead of Raphael Varane and Antoine Griezmann, who has been the winner of 2016.
The 20-year-old World Cup winner has also won the inaugural Kopa Trophy set by France Football and was ranked 4th in Ballon d'Or votes.

Originally, only French players playing in France were eligible, but from 1996 French players playing abroad were in contention to win the trophy. Since 2001, former winners elect the player of the year.
