OFFICIAL: Nuno Mendes out of the World Cup for Portugal due to left thigh injury
Nuno Mendes, out of the World Cup. He will miss the rest of the competition for Portugal. Mendes suffered a thigh injury sustained in Portugal's match against Uruguay and will not recover in time.
He is currently being treated with the Portuguese national team before being taken to a Qatari hospital for further treatment.
