Defender Omar Colley has officially extended his contract with Sampdoria until June 2025, after being close to a Premier League move.
The centre-back had been repeatedly linked with a switch to England over the summer and again in January.
Leeds United and Sheffield United had been interested in the Gambia international centre-back.
It seems as if Colley is staying with Sampdoria, extending his contract to June 2025.
The 28-year-old has been at the club since 2018, when KRC Genk sold him for €8m.
Colley has 67 appearances and one goal in the Blucerchiati jersey.
