Ousmane Dembele 'considers massive £270,000-a-week offer and signing bonus from Paris Saint-Germain'

Ousmane Dembele is weighing up leaving Barcelona for a giant £270,000-a-week deal at Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in Spain.

The French winger, whose contract runs out at the end of this season, can join clubs outside Spain on a free transfer this summer, with Chelsea thought to be keen to sign him.

But as reported by SPORT journalist Toni Juanmarti, French giants PSG have offered him a bumper £14m-a-year deal to move to the French capital - and set him a deadline of just 20 days to decide either way on his future.

Juanmarti's tweet, translated into English, reads: 'For several days, Dembélé has had a written proposal from PSG on the table: ~17m annual net + signing bonus.

'PSG have not received a response and urge the Frenchman to say yes/no. In ~20 days it should be resolved. Dembélé prioritizes continuing and awaits the final offer from FCB (Barcelona)'.

After previously insisting Dembele was free to leave the club after several inconsistent and injury-hit seasons, the 24-year-old has enjoyed a renaissance under manager Xavi, who joined in November.

And on Thursday it was reported the 27-cap international was willing to lower his wage demands in order to stay at the Nou Camp, with striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's arrival from Arsenal thought to be a factor in his willingness to stay.

But with some way to go still between Barcelona's offer and the demands of agent Moussa Sissoko - no relation to the Watford midfielder - the sizeable pay packet at the Parc des Princes could yet turn his head.

The Catalan side are said to be working out how much they can afford to offer Dembele, given their financial difficulties, before presenting him with a final proposal.
