Mathieu Flamini and Mesut Ozil are in partnership once more and are set to reveal their new project on November 6.

They posted pictures on their respective Instagram profiles promoting, in Ozil's words, something 'very special'.

Flamini wrote: 'Working hard with Mesut  towards a healthier and more sustainable future for us all. Almost time to unveil it! 06/11/18.'

The fomer Arsenal midfielder, now Getafe man, co-founded a company called that he hopes will help save the planet, called GF Biochemicals (GFB).

GFB produces a chemical called levulinic acid. The substance has been identified by the US Department of Energy as one of the 12 key molecules that could help unlock a 'greener' world.

Crucially, the acid can be used as a substitute for oil and is created from natural products such as grass.

It can then be used in plastics, solvents and fuels, meaning far less environmental damage.

Flamini is close friends with Ozil having played alongside the German for three years at the Emirates.

Their project is likely to be tied to Flamini's business, though a full picture of their plan is still to be detailed.
