Mesut Ozil reportedly told Arsenal boss Unai Emery 'I swear, you're not a coach' after being substituted in his side's Europa League final defeat to Chelsea.
Ozil was livid after being taken off in the 78th minute of the 4-1 loss, with youngster Joe Willock replacing him.
As reported by Fanatik, Ozil expressed his frustration with Emery.
Ozil produced a disappointing display in Azerbaijan as Arsenal were beaten comprehensively by their London rivals.
There has been much speculation regarding the future of the 30-year-old, whose current contract runs until the summer of 2021.
Ozil has frequently been left out of the starting lineup by Emery for high-profile away games, and, given that he earns £350,000 per week, his departure would reduce Arsenal's wage bill considerably.
Although there were occasional moments when he impressed, Ozil endured a difficult campaign overall.
In total he scored just six goals in 35 appearances across all competitions, while he only provided three assists, despite having a reputation for creating chances with regularity.
