Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham wanted to play for a rival club when he was younger.
The midfielder is now established as one of the standout players in world football and won the Champions League and LaLiga during his first season with Real.
However, Bellingham's primary school leavers yearbook entry has emerged and reveals that the 20-year-old previously dreamed of playing for a different team.
Bellingham started his career at Birmingham City before joining Borussia Dortmund and then signing for Real.
He attended Priory School in Edgbaston, Birmingham.
When he was younger Bellingham actually wanted to play for Real Madrid's rivals Barcelona.
In pictures posted on TikTok by one of his former classmates, underneath a header saying: 'When I grow up I want to be', Bellingham wrote: 'When I grow up I want to be a professional footballer for Barcelona and England.'
Bellingham's ultimate dream was to have a football tour with David Beckham and he added that Adam Sandler movies were the thing that made him laugh.
Having already made 29 appearances for England, Bellingham is set to be a key player for the Three Lions at Euro 2024 and he will be determined to make a major impact.
Bellingham didn't feature in England's warm-up games against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iceland after being given time off following Real's Champions League success.
