Marcus Rashford believes his ability to hold off defenders is a big reason behind his improvement for Manchester United this season.
The United striker has bagged 16 goals for club and country this term — and 13 in his last 14 appearances — to prompt lavish praise from pundits and his boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
And as well as hinting that he'd love to return to the No.9 position one day — despite thriving on the left-wing recently — Rashford revealed in an interview with Gary Lineker's Goalhanger Films the small changes he's made to his game.
"Just little stuff like, for me holding off defenders is a big one," he said on things he's worked on.
"It's something I speak about quite often a lot with my brothers who see me play.
"If you're trying too hard to do it, then you're not quite at your maximum.
"I feel like this season I'm doing little stuff that shows it's becoming a bit more natural and easier."
Former England striker Lineker then asked Rashford what position he wants to nail down long term at Old Trafford, having flitted between wide and central positions in his United career so far.
"I want to be able to play in all positions," added Rashford. "No.9 is obviously the dream but for me in this day and age, it's ideal to be as effective out wide as you are in the No.9.
"If Man United are playing the football that Man United can play, the forwards are making runs. The first thing [Solskjaer] has done is bring the attacking intent straight back into the team.
"The way we train and prepare for games, it's about what we can do to hurt defences, what we can do. We do speak about the opposition threats, but the first thing he says is about how we can score goals. Mentally that gives you a big push going into games."
