Real Madrid have beaten Barcelona, PSG and Chelsea to 'sign Brazilian wonderkid Endrick in a £51m deal' but the 16-year-old Palmeiras starlet will not move to the Bernabeu until July 2024.

The teenage sensation who is hailed as a generational talent in his home country has been linked to a host of Europe's biggest clubs, but Los Blancos are the ones who are understood to have got it over the line.

The deal will reach £62million with an additional £10million in taxes, according to Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Endrick cannot complete his move until he turns 18 in 2024 due to rules forbidding young South American stars from making the move to Europe.

The deal should be officially signed in the coming days as it's understood that there's a 'full verbal agreement between all parties, clubs and player'.

It comes after Madrid reportedly met conditions to not pursue fellow superstar Erling Haaland in order to get hold of Endrick.

It's said that one of the priorities for the Brazilian's party is to a have a 'clear path for the future' - with Haaland seen as someone who could potentially get in his way if both strikers played at the Santiago Bernabeu in the future.

It was also understood the club would invite the parents of Endrick so that they could discover what it will be like for the teenager to move to one of the biggest clubs in world football. They also travelled to Brazil to see Endrick's first games as a professional in person.

The 16-year-old made his professional debut for Palmeiras side in October, and has since attracted interest from across the footballing world, with PSG reportedly having a £40million bid for the forward rejected last month.

Endrick first announced himself to scouts across the world after notching a stunning return of 165 goals in 169 games for Palmeiras' youth side, and he has already netted five times in four appearances while representing his country's U-16 team.

The left-footed forward is Palmeiras' youngest ever player, having made his debut at the age of 16 years and 16 days, and has already scored three goals for the club in Brazil's top tier.
