Real Madrid are preparing to dominate the superstar market once again by making Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland Galacticos this summer, according to reports.

The upcoming transfer window threatens to shape the next decade of European football with both the world's hottest talents ready to move – putting the likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Manchester City and Chelsea on red alert.

World Cup winner Mbappe has just four months left on the PSG deal he's defiantly refused to renew, while Haaland's £63million Borussia Dortmund release clause offers the six-foot-three powerhouse at a mouth-watering bargain.

Madrid have crunched the numbers and, according to Marca, anticipation is growing over a famous transfer coup at the Bernabeu.

Between the commercial income Mbappe and Haaland will bring, the sucker-punch blow to the likes of Barcelona and PSG and the potential for a strike partnership of historic ferocity – Los Blancos think they can stomach the duo's £84m per year wages. That's a staggering £1.6m a week, each.

The 2022 summer would represent the start of a changing of the guard in Madrid, four years after Cristiano Ronaldo's departure from the Spanish capital.

Marcelo, Gareth Bale and Isco's contracts will expire on June 30, with flop Eden Hazard being linked with a sensational return to Chelsea. Those ageing stars will be ushered out to make room for the next generation.

At 34-years-old Karim Benzema remains a world class finisher but his years at the top are coming to an end. Reports claim Madrid's strategy is a steady transfer of responsibility from the Frenchman to Haaland.

The Norwegian 21-year-old has scored a staggering 80 goals in 79 games for Borussia Dortmund, and Madrid have been attentive to his situation since his Champions League breakout with RB Salzburg in 2019.

However, they'll face stiff competition from the likes of Chelsea and Haaland senior's old club, Manchester City.

Barcelona are also linked with both him and Mbappe but with the Catalan club still reeling from their financial implosion, they'll struggle to compete.
