Juventus are dominating Italian football on the pitch, having won the Serie A title in each of the last seven seasons.
And the Turin giants are keen to dominate off the field too by growing their fanbase in rival territory.
Earlier this year Juve launched a new club shop in Rome — a city which is around a seven-hour drive from Turin and home to two Serie A clubs in Roma and Lazio.
Roma responded to the news via their English language Twitter account on Thursday.
Referencing their city's many cultural and historic attractions, Roma's cheeky tweet read: 'Finally, something in Rome you really DON'T need to see'.
Juve already had an official club shop in Milan.
Eighteen points currently separate leaders Juventus from seventh-placed Roma after 13 rounds of fixtures.
Juve remain unbeaten in the league, having won 12 games and drawn just one, and they are eight points clear of closest rivals Napoli.
Roma host Inter Milan on Sunday, with Juve visiting Fiorentina 24 hours earlier.
