Ronaldinho rolled back the years in a charity match in Brazil on Tuesday night, scoring a hat-trick in front of jubilant crowd.

The 41-year-old shared his highlights reel on his Instagram page after the match, with the pick of his goals being an exquisite lob.

The game was held at the Estadio Rei Pele in Brazil, where Ronaldinho reportedly lined up alongside Ronaldo's son.

Ronaldinho captioned his social media post: 'My thanks to everyone who was at the 2021 Game of Joy here in Maceio!!!

'It was a pleasure to see so many artists, participate in this party and even help the next ones…

'We could still play a little in the field.'

Ronaldinho is one of Brazil's all-time legends after playing a central role in the side that won the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea.

Overall, he played 97 times for his country and scored 33 goals.

At club level, Ronaldinho is most fondly remembered for his glittering five-year spell with Barcelona where he won two league titles and the 2006 Champions League. While at Barca, he won the 2005 Ballon d'Or.

He also played for PSG and AC Milan in Europe, before seeing out his playing days in Brazil.
