FIFA have officially unveiled the nominees for The Best FIFA Men's Player award, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi included in a ten-man shortlist while Neymar has been dropped.

DETAILS FOR THE BEST FIFA MEN'S PLAYER AWARD
The Best FIFA Football Awards recognise the finest in each category for their respective achievements during the period from 3 July 2017 to 15 July 2018 inclusive for the men's category. The shortlisted candidates have been selected by a panel of footballing experts.
Cristiano Ronaldo was named The Best FIFA Men's Player 2017 in London - having received the inaugural 2016 award in Zurich - and he joins Lionel Messi, Zinedine Zidane, Kaka, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho in being voted the world's best footballer in recent history.
From this final shortlist, key members of the footballing community - namely journalists, fans, national team coaches and captains - will vote for the winner, with the final three nominees to be announced at a later date.
From 24 July to 10 August 2018, supporters all over the globe can cast their votes in the four awards, which are The Best FIFA Men's Player, The Best FIFA Men's Coach, The Best FIFA Women's Player, The Best FIFA Women's Coach.
All award winners will be revealed at The Best FIFA Football Awards show in London on 24 September.
