The former Bayern Munich manager had a heated moment with Sadio Mane who he signed before his stunning dismissal by the Bavarians.

Former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann was reportedly involved in a bust-up with Senegal superstar Sadio Mane before he was sacked.

Nagelsmann was shockingly sacked last week by the Bavarians and has since been replaced by former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.

Despite the Bundesliga giants still in contention to three titles this season, the 35-year-old was let go for not playing an appealing style of football.

However, according to the Metro, more reports have emerged with other reasons why the former Hoffenheim boss was sacked by the club.

According to the Metro, a disagreement with one of his superstars, former Liverpool forward Mane.

The 30-year-old joined the Bavarians last summer in a celebrated move from Liverpool and has been one of the club’s standout players.

He has scored 11 goals and provided five assists in 28 games under Nagelsmann but missed three months due to a muscle problem.

On what caused the bust-up between the two, following the return to fitness of the Senegalese star, the former Bayern boss eased him back into the team with cameos which didn't go down well with the former African footballer of the year.

He proceeded to confront his manager after just playing for just eight minutes in the Champions League game against Paris Saint-Germain.

The confrontation happened in the presence of his teammates which spiralled out of control as he complained “furiously”.

Nagelsmann linked with Spurs

Meanwhile, following his dismissal at Bayern Munich, the German tactician is rumoured to be considered for the vacant post at English Premier side Tottenham.

The Spurs job became vacant following the sacking of their Italian manager Antonio Conte.

Tottenham announced that the former Chelsea boss had left his role as manager by mutual consent, and his assistant Cristian Stellini will take over until the end of the season.
