Mohamed Salah has been flooded with messages from fans of Al-Ittihad following news that the Saudi Pro League side are 'prepared to make him the highest-paid player in the world.

It was reported that Al-Ittihad are 'confident' that Salah wants to leave Liverpool this summer and the Saudi giants are 'prepared to make him the world's highest-paid player'.

However, Liverpool have since insisted that their star is not for sale despite the Saudi Pro League champions' attempts.

This has not stopped fans of Al-Ittihad taking to social media in an attempt to convince the Egyptian to swap the Premier League for the Saudi Pro League, though.

Taking to Twitter, Salah posted a cryptic selfie with no caption - to which Al-Ittihad fans responded.

One supporter posted a video of the atmosphere at a match and told Salah: 'The train of the greatest club in the continent of Asia passes only once, Salah.

'Do not miss playing in front of the greatest Asian and Arab fans.'

While another fan followed the sentiment with a similar video, saying: 'The greatest fans in Asia are waiting for you Salah.'

A verified Twitter user opted to display Al-Ittihad's tifos on offer to try and sell the club to Salah, informing the Egyptian that: 'This audience is waiting for you'.

Photoshopped pictures of Salah in Al-Ittihad's colours were also shared, with one of him appearing next to summer signing Karim Benzema being used as a pursuasion tactic.

Another edited photo showed Salah celebrating in the Al-Ittihad away kit as fans did their best to convince the winger to force a move to their side.

It remains to be seen as to whether Salah will remain a Liverpool player by the time the transfer window closes, as the temptation of Saudi Arabian football remains.
