The Real Madrid centre-back has announced he is leaving the club. We take a look at his numbers across the biggest competitions.

Sergio Ramos: titles and trophies won with Real Madrid

In 16 seasons with the capital side, Ramos has undoubtedly fulfilled the dreams he must have had as he left his home in Seville. As a mainstay in the club that set so many records over those years, he watched big names come and go and played a crucial role in taking the team to titles and trophies, even when they may have been second best for much of the time.

In his 671 appearances for the club, the defender scored an incredible 101 goals and provided assists for teammates on 40 occasions. His list of honours is matched by few players around the world. Ramos has won 22 major honours, including five La Liga titles and four UEFA Champions League titles, becoming one of La Liga's top goalscorers from a defensive position.

LaLiga

Ramos played a total of 469 games in LaLiga after he left Sevilla to join the Spanish powerhouses, although this last season he only took part in 15 matches due to injuries, which led the Spanish head coach Luis Enrique not to call him up for Euro 2020.

He scored 72 goals and gave 39 assists in the Real Madrid jersey in the domestic competition, while he saw the red card six times. He won the title five times.

Champions League

The Andalusian player has also been one of the best defenders in the most important European competition, lifting the trophy four times. He played 129 games with Madrid, scoring 15 goals and providing eight assists. He saw the red card on two occasions.

Copa del Rey

When it comes to the second competition in Spain, Ramos was on the pitch 48 times, finding the back of the net seven times and assisting once. During those matches, he never saw red, but did get 19 yellow cards. The Spanish Cup hasn’t been his most prolific tournament, but he won it twice.

Spanish Super Cup

Sergio Ramos has won the Spanish Super Cup with Real Madrid four times. He played 15 matches in what is considered to be the third competition in Spain, which is played by the LaLiga and Copa del Rey champions.

During those 15 games, Ramos scored two goals and provided one assist, while he was booked four times.

Club World Cup

Six games and 531 minutes. Those are the numbers of the iconic number ‘4’ in the competition that only the Champions League winner can play to be considered ‘the best club in the world’.

Ramos, who lifted four Club World Cup titles in his career, scored three goals in the six matches he took part in and saw a yellow card on four occasions.

UEFA Super Cup

Real Madrid’s captain also had success in the UEFA Super Cup, where the Champions League and the Europa League winners face each other before the start of the new season.

Ramos played four games, where he scored two goals in 420 minutes and saw the yellow card twice. He won the trophy three times.
