BEN WHITE'S omission from Gareth Southgate's initial 33-man squad for Euro 2024 has left Arsenal fans fuming.
The Gunners defender has been in top form this season and helped the club challenge Manchester City in the Premier League.
White, 26, was among the big-name players not to make the Three Lions squad.
He joined the likes of Marcus Rashford, Jordan Henderson, Ben Chilwell and Reece James to be left at home.
Southgate admitted that he did not speak to White about being in the squad.
He gave a swift 15-word response when asked about White's place.
The England boss said: "I didn't speak to Ben, as far as I know he's not available to us."
Arsenal fans were not happy once the news broke on social media.
One posted: "Still no Ben White ffs. But solid nonetheless, but the backline scares me."
A second commented: "No Ben White?"
A third wrote: "For me, Ben White over Joe Gomez."
A fourth said: "No Ben White? Best right in the league this season. Sack Southgate now."
Another added: "England leaving its best defender at home."
White has not been in the England squad since he went home in mysterious circumstances during the Qatar World Cup, with rumours claiming there was a row in the camp.
White has only earned four caps for England so far in his career.
