Erik ten Hag enjoyed some time by himself on the eve of Manchester United's return to pre-season training.

The Dutchman begins work today as their pre-season gets underway, as he prepares for his second season at Old Trafford.
Players who were not involved in the June internationals will start training today, with those who did participate set to return at a later date.
Ten Hag appeared to make the most of his final evening before the serious work gets underway, as he was pictured outside the La Famiglia Italian restaurant in the village of Hale in Cheshire on Wednesday.
The 53-year-old, seen wearing jeans, a green top and blazer, appeared to go out for the meal by himself - perhaps getting some alone time before the start of the hectic season.

Though training gets underway today, it has already been a busy week for the United manager.
He has already met his new £60m signing Mason Mount, who completed his move to Old Trafford from Chelsea on Wednesday.

Ten Hag will be keen to bring some extra faces through the door, in particular a goalkeeper, after David de Gea's contract at the club expired at the end of June.
Manchester United have made a verbal proposal of £34million plus add-ons for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.
Erik ten Hag is eager to get his desired number one in before the start of pre season and talks are now underway with Onana keen to move. Although, they don’t anticipate it being a quick process.
United would also ideally like to sign a striker and clear some deadwood from the team.

Their first match of pre-season comes next week against Leeds United in Oslo.
After facing Lyon in Edinburgh, they then travel to the United States where they will play against Arsenal, Wrexham, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
United's first match of the Premier League season takes place on Monday, August 14 against Wolves.
