NO CHANGE HERE
Darren Selig, JBR Capital's executive chairman, believes that footballers are putting their trust in the same cars.
However, he was shocked to see brands like Porsche drop out completely from the list.
“It's not surprising that footballers haven't greatly changed their taste in cars over the last few years," he said.
"But it is interesting that in terms of marques, Jeep, Porsche and McLaren have been replaced in the top 10 by Audi, Maserati and Ford.”
Selig previously told us why footballers prefer to lease cars, rather than buy them.
"Footballers favour financing cars because they still see cars as a monthly cash-flow purchase rather than a capital item," he revealed.
"They may well be earning a lot of money, but all that money is invested for them through their financial advisors and agents.
"At the end, they are left with pocket money, so to speak, and they're left with a monthly budget to run their lives.
"Cars are just one of those items they like to spend their money on and enjoy."
