Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko has returned to training after a knee injury that has kept him out for over two months.
Sissoko required knee surgery after a collision with Southampton's James Ward-Prowse on New Year's Day. Whilst the injury did not seem too serious at the time, as the Frenchman completed the 90 minutes but it was later revealed after scans that he had damaged the medial collateral ligament in his right knee.
He has since made a return to the training pitch and said that he is feeling 'fine' as he regains his match fitness.
'I'm fine, my knee's okay,' Sissoko told the Tottenham website.
'I've been training with the team for nearly two weeks now and everything is okay. I'm trying to build up my fitness and trying to be ready for when we're allowed to play again.'
Spurs have been plagued with injury issues all season as boss Jose Mourinho has constantly referred to.
Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min have been the most notable absentees whilst new signings Steven Bergwijn has also suffered an injury in recent weeks.
Tanguy Ndombele has also struggled for fitness for several months and has had a rather public spat with manager Mourinho.
