The Champions League 2021-22 group stage draw was officially announced in Istanbul, Turkey on Thursday.
Last season's runners-up Manchester City were drawn with heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in Group A. RB Leipzig and Club Brugge are the two other clubs in the group.
Group B looks like the group of death which will see Atletico Madrid, Liverpool, FC Porto and AC Milan contest to advance to the next stage of the European Championship.
Sporting Lisbon, Borussia Dortmund, Ajax FC and Besiktas J.K are, meanwhile, drawn in Group C while Group D contains contenders Inter Milan and Real Madrid alongside Shakhtar Donetsk and Sheriff Tiraspol.
German champions Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona will clash in a Group E fixture while S.L Benfica and FC Dynamo Kyiv are the other clubs joining them in the contest.
Group F contains Villarreal, Manchester United, Atalanta and Young Boys while Group G will have Lille OSC, Sevilla FC, FC Salzburg and Wolfsburg FC.
Holders Chelsea will face a stiff challenge from Juventus in Group H while Zenit St Petersburg and Malmo FF are the two other clubs in the group.
The matchday 1 of the group stage fixtures will run on September 14 and 15 while matchday 2 commences on 28th and 29th.
Matchday 3 and 4 is scheduled to be held on October 19-20 and November 2-3 respectively.
Matchday 5 and 6, meanwhile, will be held on November 23-24 and December 7-8 respectively.
