The draw for the quarter-finals of the Champions League was made on Friday, with four fascinating ties in the offing for football fans. The great and the good of the game gathered at UEFA’s Swiss headquarters for the draw, which brought together the competition’s two most recent winners in a massive European clash.
Holders Real Madrid will play Premier League side Chelsea, who won the competition in 2020/21. Each side knocked the other out on their way to their recent triumphs and the neutrals will be awaiting eagerly for this year’s rematch.
When is Real Madrid’s next Champions League game?
The quarter-finals of the Champions League will be played across two legs, with the first games scheduled for Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 April. The return legs will then be played on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 April.
