Vrsaljko pushing to be back for SPAL vs Inter

  /  Cai

Sime Vrsaljko is working his hardest to try and get back in action in time for Inter’s game with SPAL next weekend according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Croatian full back has been sidelined through a knee injury since mid-September and has missed Inter’s last five games across all competitions as a result.Yesterday in training, the 26-year-old was able to take part with the rest of his teammates having previously been working alone following a personalised training regime to help aid him in his recovery from the injury he sustained while on international duty with Croatia.

It still remains to be seen whether Vrsaljko will make it in time but if not, it is safe to assume that he will be fully fit again and available to manager Luciano Spalletti for the Milan derby in three weeks time in the first game back after the upcoming international break.
