London may be welcoming a new WAG as Chelsea have sensationally signed Enzo Fernandez for a British record £107million after agreeing a deal with Benfica late on deadline day.

His devoted girlfriend Valentina Cervantes - who has been there through all the ups and downs of the Argentinian player's stratospheric rise to football stardom - is expected to make the journey from Lisbon, Portugal to the UK capital with him.

The glamorous 22-year-old social media influencer has been dating the sports star, 22, for the past four years, and has in past reportedly given up a career in teaching to travel around the world with her beau.

Valentina regularly posts sweet, loved-up snaps with Enzo and their adorable two-year-old daughter Olivia.

She and her toddler both cheered the football player on during the Qatar World Cup, which saw Argentina reign victorious.

Celebrating her partner's career-changing win, Valetina shared a wholesome snap with her 525,000 Instagram followers - pledging to 'love Enzo to infinity'.

She captioned the post: 'CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD! I have no words to describe this moment, proud of you and everything you achieved.'

Following the victory, Enzo crowned Young Player of the Tournament after his country's triumph over France on penalties.

Although Valentina's Instagram is full of photos of her other half, the couple have never publicly spoken about their relationship - preferring to leave gushing comments on each other's feeds.

In response to Valentina's World Cup tribute post, Enzo wrote: 'I LOVE YOU.'

According to local news outlet TN, Valentina was studying to become an English teacher when she first met Enzo at the age of 18.

The publication reports that Valentina abandoned her studies as her partner's profession started to require more international travel.

In May 2020, the couple welcomed their daughter Olivia and Valentina has documented her journey into motherhood online.

Sharing a picture of her daughter at just eight months old, the fashionista gushed: 'It's amazing how something so small can make you feel something so huge.'

Before she was even two-years-old, Valentina was already taking her daughter to Enzo's matches as a show of support.

Captioning a photo of her daughter in the stands, she wrote: 'OUR CHAMP! We love you lots.'

But when she's not posting photos of her adorable daughter, Valentina also uses her social media profiles to share her love of fashion.

In a post from August, the mother posed within Benfica's stadium in a chic hot pink co-ord, which she paired with a £760 black Prada leather trainers and a £1,700 Gucci clutch bag.

Clearly a fan of the Italian fashion brand, Valentina was also pictured rocking their £520 bucket hat in Qatar.

In a sweet family photo, the mother was spotted in a £1,200 Gucci cropped jersey jacket - featuring the brand's distinctive red-and-white sports stripe.

The eye-watering swoop for Chelsea's No 1 January target headed into the last minutes of the transfer window as both clubs spent Tuesday locked in talks over the move for the Argentina international.

At one point, it looked as though Chelsea would fail to get the deal for the 22-year-old World Cup winner over the line - but both parties finally made a breakthrough just minutes before the 11pm deadline.

Enzo will sign an eight-and-a-half year deal through to June 2031.

Benfica confirmed the move in a statement in the early hours of Wednesday morning after the clubs completed the necessary paperwork prior to the deadline. The Portuguese club also removed Fernandez from their list of players on the club website.

The Blues teased an announcement by changing their Twitter bio to an Argentina flag followed by a trophy emoji.

Chelsea's co-controlling owner Behdad Eghbali - who also sanctioned Jorginho's move to Arsenal on Tuesday - led negotiations for the World Cup winner with Benfica from London.

Sources had earlier indicated that Chelsea could fall just short and were ready to turn their attention to completing a summer move for Fernandez because sealing a deal for this season was proving too difficult.

But Tuesday night's agreement was met with huge relief given the club's determination to complete the move in January.

It is understood the biggest hurdle the Londoners were trying to overcome was agreeing a payment plan for the record fee with Benfica.
