Arsenal news: The Gunners host Crystal Palace at the weekend in the Premier League but the fixture will not be available to watch live in the UK
Arsenal return to Premier League action on Sunday looking to take another step towards their first league title in nearly 20 years by defeating Crystal Palace.
The Gunners will welcome the Eagles to the Emirates Stadium following their Europa League heartbreak on Thursday. Sporting CP came out on top in a penalty shoot-out after the two sides played out a 3-3 draw on aggregate over both ties.
The game is the only Premier League fixture to take place on Sunday due to the scheduling of the FA Cup quarter-finals. There are three games televised on the same day as the Gunners' game with Palace - which won't be televised.
Many supporters may be wondering why that is, especially with Sky Sports or BT Sport not showing any FA Cup action. Here, football.london provides you with the reasoning behind the decision.
Arsenal vs Crystal Palace kicks off at 2pm in the UK on Sunday, March 19.. The match is being played at the Emirates Stadium.
The match has not been selected for live TV coverage in the UK on either BT Sport or Sky Sports, meaning you cannot tune into the action on TV.
The reason behind the decision is because the fixture was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 18 but was shifted back a day due to the club's commitments in the Europa League.
The fixture was meant to be under the UK blackout of 3pm kick-offs in the Premier League and the rule will apply due to its original date.
As the match is not on TV in the UK, you cannot watch a live stream through the Premier League's TV providers BT Sport or Sky Sports.
