Barcelona have welcomed Xavi Martin back to the club and he has been named as the new director of La Masia.
Martin preciously worked in a number of roles at the club. He was director of communication for several seasons between December 2011 and January 2014, while also overseeing the club's youth ranks between June 2010 and 2012.
His CV covers a lot of bases, having been trained in online and offline communication, marketing, advertising, branding and management and media relations, while he is also a university professor.
As well as his role with La Masia, Martin will also work with the football management side of the club.
